From One Winner To Another

Sir Alex Ferguson CBE took time out ahead of the start of the new football season to perform the official opening of our new offices in central Worcester, on 9th August 2007.

Arriving by helicopter at Worcester Race Course Sir Alex met VIP guests to wish family friend and our principal partner Patrick Kennedy (and team) all the best for his new enterprise, Winners Estate Agents, which will cover Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire.

At the new offices in Sansome Walk, Sir Alex walked the red carpet, cut the ribbon, unveiled a commemorative plaque and accepted a gift engraved with the legend ‘From One Winner to Another’.

Patrick Kennedy, who aims to draw on his success as a race horse owner and businessman to deliver a better service, said:

“Being part of a sporting team has given me the belief that a business transaction should also be like entering a race – it’s about the preparation, taking care of the people involved and being first past the post. We want to make selling houses an enjoyable and successful experience for our clients.”

After the grand opening, a buffet reception was held at Worcester Race Course.
